香港復康力量於一九九五年成立,為香港註冊的慈善復康服務機構。本會最初的服務對象主要為肢體傷殘人士,及後擴展至聽障人士、長期病患者及精神病康復者。本會亦致力改善復康政策,推動香港發展成無障礙城市。現時本會職員中,有超過七成亦屬殘疾人士。


培訓及就業部

本會設有「殘疾人士就業培訓中心」,讓學員接受專業培訓,為積極就業,融入社會作好準備。本部為學員提供以下四項服務:

一、輔助就業服務
二、就業培訓計劃
三、僱員再培訓局「人才發展計劃」培訓課程
四、培訓及就業部復康伙伴中心「荔景店」


社會企業部

以激勵殘疾人士發展為目標,透過聘請殘疾人士,以商業模式營運兩大社企項目,幫助他們融入社會。「活力傳意」主要提供電話 熱線、包裝、派傳單及行政工作等服務;而「活力店」則包括設在沙田醫院、瑪嘉烈醫院荔景大樓及廣華醫院的便利店,而北大嶼山醫院除了便利店外,在2016年11月更增設首間活力咖啡店,售賣輕食及精品咖啡。


會務發展部

積極促進與香港各學校、企業及社福團體的合作,不單定期舉辦多元化的「社區共融活動」及「會員活動」,更會組織義工隊伍,參與友好機構策劃的活動。透過不同形式的表演,如唱手語歌、扭汽球或中樂演奏等,讓市民多了解殘疾人士的需要,及鼓勵殘疾人士融入社會。

本部每年均會籌辦大型慈善籌款活動,包括一連兩日在維園舉行的「復康力量傷健共融日」、「復康力量在職達人選舉」及「賣旗籌款」等,推廣傷健共融和平等的信息、表揚他們的自強精神。籌集所得的資金用以推動殘疾人士職業培訓及公開就業。

另外,以雙月刊形式出版的Power Magazine,內容包羅萬有,提供本會最新的資訊及活動花絮等。我們亦鼓勵各會員投稿,利用文字跟所有同路人互相交流。

現時本會的會員人數超過2000人,義工人數高達1000多人。

The Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power is formed in 1995. We are registered Non-Government Organisation in Rehabilitation Service. Back then, our service target was mainly focused on physically handicapped persons. As the organization develops, we expanded our service toward the deaf persons, chronic patients and ex-mentally ill persons. We always strive to optimise the Hong Kong Government’s Policy in Rehabilitation, and to push forward the final goal of having a Barrier-Free Hong Kong.

For our organisation we aim to promote the concept of inspiring disables to develop confidence and ability in self-dependent; over seventy percent of our full-time staffs are persons with disabilities.


Training and Employment Division

The Training and Employment Department is one of the most crucial part in our organization. In order for our service targets to gain full preparation and confidence in joining the labour pool; this department contains an Employment and Training Center for our students to attend professional coaching sessions. The center provides the below services:

1. Assisting Employment Service
2. Coaching and Training Scheme
3. Training Programme for Manpower Development Scheme in Employees Retraining Board
4. Training Partner – Lai King Power Shop


Social Enterprise Division

Concerning our vision to inspire the persons with disabilities to self-dependent, we endeavor to provide them a stepping stone by hiring disables in our social enterprise projects – Power Communication. The Power Communication provides different outsource services, including packaging, hotline center, leaflet distribution, administration service and so on. We also have four Power Mart (Convenient Store) in Shatin Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital Lai King Building, Kwong Wah Hospital and North Lantau Hospital. In November 2016, we opened a brand new Power Café in North Lantau Hospital.


Development Division

The Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power is actively involved in Social Integration Programmes and Member Activities collaborating with schools, Social Enterprises and Non-Government Organisations. We organise charity team and join other parties who shares similar view with us and supports the society. We strive to share our vision in varies ways, for example, sign language song performances, balloon tricks, Chinese instruments performances and etc.; in order to carry out the possibilities of rehab persons.

Every year, The Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power hosts fund raising events in different scales, including our yearly event - Rehab Power Day, Rehab Iron Man Election and the HKRP Flag Day. We promote the message of having an equal society for both the able and disabled, by showing the power within the rehab persons. All raised fund to be used in assisting physically handicapped persons, deaf persons, chronic patients and ex-mentally ill persons in trainings, and internships, and employment.

Furthermore, we publish our very fruitful Power Magazine every other month to all the members and students; for them to get in touch with our most updated tutorials, trainings, and events. We also encourage our members to submit for publication, to strengthen their confidence in writing and presenting themselves.

We have around 2000 currently, and our charity team contains more than 1000 people.
